Frequently Asked Questions

What is allied health?

Allied health professions are what they sound like: allies to other healthcare professions. Typically, medical professionals in these fields provide diagnostic, technical, therapeutic, or support services, including but not limited to disorder identification, disease prevention, nutrition, rehabilitation, and many others.

These programs are different from RN, PA, and MD programs, which require more extensive schooling at a higher cost. Allied health programs exist for a wide variety of specialities, from CNAs to EMTs to Ultrasound Techs and beyond. Vitali exists to make it easy for allied health students in select specialties to complete their desired programs and feel confident on their path to a brighter future.

What does a CNA do?

Nursing assistants are typically responsible for providing basic care and supporting patients during daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, eating, getting around, using the restroom, and so on. They report to a supervisor (RN or LPN) to ensure vital health information is properly tracked and medical standards for patient care are always met.

Will this program prepare me for a national CNA exam?

Yes! Though it’s not required, taking the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) exam can help a student’s resume stand out. Our program offers students eligibility to take that exam.

Are there any prerequisites for this program?

To register for this program, you must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. No prior studying is required.
